PAUL HORN YOUTH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
A perpetual trophy presented at the NRHA Futurity and North American Affiliate Championship Show to the high scoring youth in the combined youth classes. Traditionally this award is accompanied by a $500 scholarship and a trophy and display in OKC.

JOHN MCQUAY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The John McQuay Memorial Scholarship of $250 is presented to the highest scoring youth in combined classes (Youth 14-18 and 13 and Under)

ARBUCKLE "BOUND FOR GLORY" TROPHY
This trophy is on display at the NRHA office in Oklahoma City and is awarded to the high scoring youth at the NRHA Derby. Every year the names of the winners are engraved on the trophy.

REINING HORSE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

The Reining Horse Foundation, a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is dedicated to caring for the reining community and honoring the sport's legacy. One of its core programs is scholarships. NRHyA members are encouraged to apply for seven, annual scholarships based on financial need, academic achievement and reining involvement. Three $2,000, two $1,500 and two $750 scholarships are awarded.

NRHYA SPEAKING CONTEST
NRHyA members can participate in the NRHyA Speaking Contest at the NRHA Derby. Contestants are broken into 2 age divisions and can compete in Prepared Public Speaking, Community Service Presentation and Delivering A: General. Six scholarships are awarded; to the top speaker in each division and category, including the Liz Haverty Memorial Scholarship for Prepared Public Speaking.
